CAS Number 148893-10-1

At Apollo Scientific, we supply research chemicals to laboratories and universities all over the world.

One of our most popular products is HATU, also known as O-(7-Azabenzotriazol-1-yl)-N,N,N',N'-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate, N-[(Dimethylamino)(3H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4,5-b]pyridin-3-yloxy)methylidene]-N-methylmethylaminium hexafluorophosphate.  Buy HATU from Apollo Scientific online today at the best prices.

Every compound supplied by Apollo Scientific is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis.

HATU is a peptide coupling agent used to generate an active ester from a carboxylic acid.

It is used along with Hünig's base (N,N-diisopropylethylamine, DIPEA), or triethylamine to form amide bonds. Typically DMF is used as a solvent, although other polar aprotic solvents can also be used.

HATU is often found in amine acylation reactions (i.e., amide formation). It is a stable and versatile building block that can be used in the synthesis of a variety of compounds.

Apollo Scientific specialise in custom chemical synthesis of organic molecules for biotech, pharmaceutical and R&D applications. We supply synthetic research chemicals and intermediates to laboratories and researchers across the globe.
