It can be used as an electrophilic partner in a variety of palladium-catalysed cross coupling reactions and as a reagent in standard nucleophilic substitutions. It has been used in the synthesis of glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists to treat type II diabetes,[1] and in the synthesis of 2-methylquinazolines as pharmacologically-active compounds.[2]
